Dr. Dominic Morel

Oral Surgeon Fort Lauderdale FL

Dr. Dominic Morel, a native of St. Hyacinthe, Canada, obtained his dental degree from the University of Montreal. While practicing general dentistry, Dr. Morel discovered his special enthusiasm for surgical procedures, which was further fueled by taking call at his hometown hospital. His continued exposure to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery branch of dentistry and his growing interest in the specialty led him to pursue a surgical residency at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. The teaching at Montefiore Medical Center consisted of the full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery and anesthesia education, as well as focused training in implant dentistry and related procedures, including bone grafting.

Dr. Morel recently relocated from New York to Florida and joined our South Florida Oral & Facial Surgery team. His developing practice focuses on jaw correction surgery, benign pathology treatment, osseous facial trauma, as well as complex dental extractions (including impacted wisdom teeth), and dental implantology. Having a gentle and friendly approach, Dr. Morel also offers IV sedation to the apprehensive and anxious patients.

Dr. Morel is a Canadian Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, and Candidate to the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. In his free time, Dr. Morel enjoys playing hockey, golf, cooking, going to the beach, and spending time with his wife, who also practices dentistry.
