Surgical Staff

Our surgical staff is proficiently trained in the latest surgical technology performed in our office. They are each trained in I.V. sedation and general anesthesia in an ambulatory setting. Their number one priority is sterility and safety, overall patient care.

	Traci Stewart Implant Technician Surgical Assistant Traci Stewart has been our surgical tech for many years. She assists with some of our most complex cosmetic cases.  Her calming demeanor is a comfort to our patients with her skill and knowledge in our specialty.  Traci is able to field any cosmetic question.
	Hasan Yap Implant Technician Surgical Assistant Hasan Yap is a graduate of dental school in the country of Panama. He assists Dr. Sawisch and Dr. Schaumberg in every aspect of dental implant surgery. Hasan is a proficient impressionist and is a master in creating surgical guides for implant surgery. His tireless dedication to the patients and practice as a whole is admirable. He is committed to providing exceptional patient care. His kind manner and warm smile is a great asset to our practice.
	Anthony Malavenda Dental Assistant Anthony Malavenda joined our team in December 2010.  Anthony has worked in dentistry for the past 6 years.  He obtained his Certified Dental Assistant degree from Concorde Institute.  Anthony began his career working in general dentistry and has focused his assisting abilities to specialties including oral surgery, endodontics, and periodontics.  He also has three years experience working within the administrative aspect of dentistry including treatment coordination and insurance billing.  Anthony enjoys working with every patient and providing them with excellent care.                   Ellina Rozenfeld Dental Assistant Originally from Russia, Ellina Rozenfeld moved to Florida 2003.  Ellina attended Sanford Brown Institute and graduated in 2008 with her Certified Dental Assistant Degree. She joined our practice in November 2010.  Ellina is certified in expanded duties and dental x-rays.  She assists with patient consultation, pre and post-operative care and office procedures.  Ellina looks forward to helping you with your surgical experience.
