Surgical Staff

Our surgical staff is proficiently trained in the latest surgical technology performed in our office. They are each trained in I.V. sedation and general anesthesia in an ambulatory setting. Their number one priority is sterility and safety, overall patient care.

	Traci Stewart Clinical Coordinator Surgical Assistant Traci Stewart joined our practice in 1998. She has extensive experience in oral surgery, implant dentistry and practice management. She assists with all aspects of surgery as well as anesthesia. Traci is committed to ensuring that every patient is provided exceptional care in a safe and sterile environment.
	Hasan Yap Implant Technician Surgical Assistant Hasan Yap is a graduate of dental school in the country of Panama. He assists Dr. Sawisch and Dr. Schaumberg in every aspect of dental implant surgery. Hasan is a proficient impressionist and is a master in creating surgical guides for implant surgery. His tireless dedication to the patients and practice as a whole is admirable. He is committed to providing exceptional patient care. His kind manner and warm smile is a great asset to our practice.
	Andrea Barerra Surgical Treatment Coordinator Surgical Assistant Andrea holds a certificate in surgical technology from Sanford Brown Institute, and is currently working her way towards a nursing degree. She provides eager assistance to Dr. Sawisch and Dr. Schaumberg in oral and facial cosmetic surgeries, and anesthesia. Andrea's focus on quality patient care comes through in everything she does. Her upbeat personality is comforting to everyone she encounters.
	Omar Santacruz Implant Technician Surgical Assistant Omar Santacruz is a graduate of dental school in the country of Colombia.  He assists Dr. Sawisch and Dr. Schaumberg in every aspect of surgery.  His cares about our patients and the specialty of oral surgery is admirable.  Omar is committed to providing extraordinary patient care.  His enthusiasm and patience is an asset to our practice.
