Dr. Avi Schetritt

Dr. Avi Schetritt grew up and spent his formidable years in Montreal Canada. Dr. Avi, as he likes to be called, completed his undergraduate training and received a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University in Montreal. He then continued his university education at the University of Montreal where he received his dental degree (DMD).

After two years in general private practice, Dr. Avi returned to school, this time at University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada where he completed his periodontal residency program. During his periodontal training he developed a passion for soft tissue procedures and pursued this aspect of his specialty most vigorously.

Dr. Avi Schetritt is board certified, a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, The Canadian Academy of Periodontology, the Florida Association of Periodontists and numerous local dental societies and study clubs. He has acted as Chair for the ICOI table clinic presentations for the last several years.

He has lectured nationally and internationally on soft tissue procedures, bone regeneration and implants. Dr. Schetritt has also authored several articles on these topics.
